something grow on my LR

I have some type or algae or something growing on my live rock...it is white and kinda appears like cotton, just not in the shape of a ball...lol so if anyone can guess what that is from my description i will tip my hat to you.i will try to post a pic later on today...thanks for hte help

i think i know wat ur talking bout, and i think i have the same thing. exept mines a ball shaped one, and im pretty sure its a litle wite sponge, and they can come in different shapes than balls, so that sounds like it
