Something is wrong in my tank!!!

Yesterday I lost a powder blue tang. This morning I wake up to one of my small bright purple fish missing, and yellow tang with the tail eaten up, and a leopard serpant star on its death bed. I tested the water everything is good
Nitrate 0
Phos .2
nitrite 0
ph 8.4
amonia 0
salinity is at 1.021
The other animals that inhibit the tank are. few snails, blue legs,2scarlets, 1 coral banded shrimp, 2 gold striped maroons, and a courly (spell) snail.
This starfish makes me sick to look at. its legs are falling off and the top of its head is open and you can see what appears to be eggs.
could this all be the work of a bristol worm????

I think I might have figured it out. I got a new wet dry sump. I had to add 6 gal of water to my tank. The tank is a 75g. I do not have a ro/di water system I just used ro water from Kmart. I simply mixed the salt in the bucket and poured it into the sump. I guess it shocked the star. I had this particular star for about 3 months. I think I killed it by ignorance.

The star died over the night. The fish That I had that died was a powder blue. Now what I've learned about them is that they are very hard to keep. And being very vibrent in color someone sudgested that they might have been druged when cought in the wild and they usualy last 2-3 weeks after that. Thats about the length of time I had him. I did find my lost fish. He was in hiding for a day (maybe stress from the water)..

And here is a perfect example of why I say it is unacceptable to just throw unaerated/non-aged sea water into a tank....!
Ryan, sorry this happened to you, and I'm not really directing my comment to you, but last wk there was a heated debate about this issue with me on the receiving end of critizism, thus I just wanted to point out the results of considering the mode of water mixture you used as "a matter of opinion". Just couldn't help myself! Sorry for interupting your thread.
