When I bought some live rock today I notice alot of red spots and I also saw on the live rock like a circle on it. Do any of u know what the red spots are?

Sigh.. I'm not lieing anymore. . I would show u a picture but i dont know how to get the picture on the computer. But what type of LR is this. It is white it has spikes on it it had 3 points comeing up and thats it. It has a hole in it to.

Doesn't sound like LIVE ROCK to me at all.I have never seen white live rock.Are you sure this guy is selling you live rock??How much did you spend for it??This sounds more like dead coral than LIVE ROCK...

Hmm it was in the liverock section and it was covered in a plastic and i saw alittle water on the plastic so i guess it is and it was $5.00.

if it was covered in plastic/shrink wrapped it is not live rock. you probably have dead coral. live rock is sold out of a tank filled with water with a lot of other rocks in it. this is why research is key before going to the lfs and spending $$$.

I see. O well if im able to get a bigger tank i use my 10 gallon for hospitle or what ever. Hmm back to animal warehouse.

O well, I well just use it as a disease curing tank sort of thing. That fine? ( IF I GET A BIGGER TANK ) Hmm, I just hope my aunt in florada has a tank Hopefully i can find how to put it in my car. Ok this tank is going really deep time for a scuba suit.

Maybe its my old 7 gallon tank i forgot to clean. HeHe
