We have a 75 gallon tank and have had it for a year and a half now. We were just cleaning the tank today from where we had a slight algae outbreak. In the midst of cleaning, almost all of my fish have moved to one corner of the tank. Two blue damsels are laying on the sand pretty much on top of one another and the yellow tang and one of the clown fish are hovering towards the top corner. The other clown is under a rock somewhere and the diamond goby is hanging out as usual for the most part. We changed out about 15 gallons of water for new water and tested the levels. The alkalinity is a bit high and ph is normal. The only thing that really made a noticeable difference was the stuff that was stirred up from cleaning some of the algae off. Could this have made the fish do this? We've cleaned it like this before and never had this happen. Thanks for any info.
