Sometimes I hate..........

................going to our lfs"s. We went Monday, they have a tank with 2 Blue Jaw Triggers, a Dogface Puffer, a little Niger, a Yellow Tang, and 2 other types I can't remember, and a Wrasse. The Yellow Tang was biting the tail of the Puffer.
The poor thing kept his tail curled to the side but that damned tang kept following it and taking chunks out of his tail

Sometimes I hate goin to these store because, as you are aware, I'm sure, the customer always pays more attention to their fish than they do. The same store, 2 weeks ago, I spotted a Tang, pinched between two artificial formations. One had fallen and caught the Tang between the two. He was dead of course, and had been for quite some time.
The other AWFUL tail biting story is from the other lfs. They had a Picasso, the most cool Damsel, and a couple other non-aggressive fish. They added a Wrasse, and he had eaten the poor Damsel's tail all the way to the body.
Does it bother anyone else? I feel so bad for the livestock they carry. And then when you point out those types of things, they act like it is no big deal. I guess they may be embarrassed or something, huh?
Just a little rant...................I feel better now
...................Peace

Yea,Iknow how you feel.Ihad one just like this and i quit going to it.But they were stupid and it was costing them im sure lots of money.
They'd keep huge lion fish with little bitty royal grammas and things like that and the whole time youd be in the store youd see the lion having a feast.
And once they had a blue spotted ray whose tail was almost completely gone i assume because of the queen trigger it was kept with

I saw an undulated eel with the top layer of skin completely removed from it's face and neck by a trigger. Poor eel is still there for over a year. For who could ever learn to love a beast? Dah Dum!
