i have noticed a bunch of small plant like things in the tank. They are circular, they r see through and have a star like spine on it, could it be Feather Dusters?
Because you said they are " see through ", I think more maybe aiptasia anemone...not sure what a " star like spine " means.
But without a photo, could be anything...
