son wants a little tank

i have a 55g and a 125g my son wants a mini tank
i mess around with plexi glass so im makin a 1g aprox
what would that be ? a pico ?can i take a small powerhead
and make a mini sump/lr .what do you use for lighting on these
things. mini compacts?

i would maybe go for a 20 gal or 12 gal, something easier and considered a "nano", but im assuming this is his first tank? i always feel the smaller the tank, the harder it gets.

Depends. On your water, feeding, stocking levels, and mait' routine, filtration etc. They do however tend to need daily/every other day top offs.

ya get him a 20g...youll see he will want more than 1 fish...then wont appreciate your 1g and want a bigger..

um i would get him a 24 gallon aquapod those are good starter nanos they come with filterations and lights and convenintly at a low price of 300$
