If a tanks subtrate is slowly leaking phosohates into the water, will pourous LR absorb it. And if this rock is used in a different tank, will the rock also leech phosphaters into the water?

it might carry a little into the new tank but not a constant supply of it so it wont really bother anything. what you might do to minimize the amount going into the new tank is mix up some new water let it airate and all that good stuff like you were doing a water change and dip and shake the rocks as you take them out, if you are redoing the tank that is.
