i am just wondering if there are any reef clubs or maybe saltwater fish clubs in the south florida area like westpalm maybe broward!? have looked and found nothing! any help would be awsome!

hey ryan-
there are two that i belong to.
one is pbmas ]
the other is fmas - florida marine aquarist society.
pbmas meets the last saturday of every month in various locations, and fmas is in davie on the 4th tuesday of every month.

the above is rediculous, since when is posting emails being monitored now?! the guy is asking about reef clubs which should be encouraged. they are not advertising or competing with SWF. people post their email all the time for people to find out about stuff that not appropriate on the site.

soliciting for another website is against the rules and when a post is deleted with a link in it. Thats why. It makes No sense to allow a poster to post an email after a link has been edited out to say " email me and I can give to to you anyway!!" this is not new its the rules of this board.
It is encouraged on the joining of reef clubs yes but these clubs are sponsored by competitors of SWF.com and thats why the no links discussing them is fine not a problem. We also delete any posts that say "hey have you check out so and so compnays site they sell pumps real cheap email me for the site!" come on there has to be a stopping point to the whole thing. SWF ask for no links to competitors or sites that have a competitor sponsor when a goggle search will bring up the results that are wanted.
as far as finding the site here is the remedy.

michael i know about the rules about competitors and follow them as everyone should, it just seems to me that when a person wants to know about a local club to go to a meeting to learn more about the hobby , an EMAIL address should not be deleted. email is just as, if not more round-about then copying and pasting the club letters into the google search box.
