Southdown sand

Does any one know if central Ohio Home Depot stores sell Southdown sand? How do people feel about Quickcrete sand for DSB? Thanks for any input.

I guess you could use Quickcrete if you want to mount a Basketball Goal in your tank. It's concrete.

western pa ha a very hard time getting southdown, so i imagine taht ohio has an even harder time, the farther off the coas t you go, the less the chances
and i know of others that have used quickrete, with good luck and no problem, except the problem with dribbling, it does not bounce very well, LOL
seriously i do know of others who used quickrete SAND, it is quartz based and ahs shown no ill affects at all

well i was a ladder man. i'm now out at ME-226 losing major sleeptime! our "new" Pierce (2.75 y.o.) now has 56000 miles. what's the life span of these things?!! <img src="graemlins//freak.gif" border="0" alt="[freak]" /> <img src="graemlins//freak.gif" border="0" alt="[freak]" /> but runnin' calls and lots of righteous fires is what we live for. <img src="graemlins//eek.gif" border="0" alt="[eek]" /> my kids love it when they get to see me at work. they are also sad when one of the fish die. gotta work that ot to cover the cost of replacement! <img src="graemlins//uhuh.gif" border="0" alt="[U-Huh]" />

I called Southdown Inc. and they said they ship to some Cleveland stores. I might have to try that. Nice hearing from the other FF's out there( Chainsaw5vent and Addicted 1 ). Thanks for the input everyone.
