Spazing Clowns

I came home from school today to find my clown fish spazing. The two of them will be swimming and then just stop and start shaking, kinda like in the cartoons when someone gets shocked (only less violent) I also think they are getting ready to mate... All water parameters are fine except my ammonia is alittle high... I will try to lower it though.
P.S all other fish are fine
thanks

The shakeing is normal..... it's a sign of one being submissive to the other. if they're both doing it , it means neither one has become the dominant one yet. Usually the larger of the 2 will become the dominant female.
You have to find the source of the ammonia and make sure you get it to 0 and it stays 0. :D

i usually test it my self with a brand name of nutrifin... but otherwise i take it to my lfs and they test it, so i get two sources. There is a very visible difference between the male and the female. the female is almost a half and inch larger. I've been watching them for a while now and the female will do it every once in while but the male will do it more often. Also when he does it he usually brushed up against the female in an aquard way.

Its normal, and your lucky IMO. It could of been a fighting match. Give it a few days and they will settle down. For the ammonia, did your cycle finish? Any fish decaying? Add any thing new? Too many fish too fast? It could be many reasons, need more info. Congrats on the clown pairing though!
