My Question is, What is the correct Specific Gravity? I have been told two different things by two different stores. One said it should be 1.020 to 1.022. The other said if should be 1.022 to 1.027. I have it set at 1.024.
I have a 75 gal tank that I have started about 2 weeks ago, I currently have two damsels in it along with 1"1/2 of live sand. I have one emperor bio filter, one 30-60 gal outside filter and one power head. Is this Enough filterrization for my tank?
One more question, I have a rock that came with the fish tank i bought, it had been in this tank for at least 10 years in fresh water. I would like to put it into my saltwater tank. My problem is that it is two large for me to boil, I was wondering if baking it in the oven for a hour would serilize it enough?
please,any help is appreciated.

Just about everyone keeps thier SG at diferent levels.I think it is more important to keep it at a stable reading, than a specific one.,024 should be OK...The filters you listed should be OK also as long as they are kept clean.Allowing excessive waste buildup will cause problems with any filter setup...I would skip the rock(LOL,,get it???SKIP THE ROCK)But seriously, there is no telling what that rock has been through..What meds it has been in contact with,or any disease,or bacterial infestations. It could be more trouble than it is worth......Skip the rock,,,HA,HA,HA,,I KILL ME...
