speed of powerhead for return flow

I just made a 10gallon refugium for my 55gallon and have a 250gph pump. Will this be enough to return the water from the tank under my display tank? The pump was once used with my hang on back refugium. Please say it'll work so I don't have too buy another powerhead...

It should, but some pumps that move 250gph will not lift water well. Moving water vertically is tougher than horizontally. It should be easy to test, or go to the mfg web site, they usually have "max head" info.
