Alright well I spilled some water.. around my refugium a few days ago.. and now when i put my face real close to the rug I'm starting to smell a smell.. I don't want mildew or antyhing to get ruined... what should I do?
All carpet when it gets wet and starts to dry has a smell. Not going to get into the details but trust me I know. The smell should go away in a couple of days.
well i'm not really sure... but it was enough to soak up a few towels.. I couldn't find any type carpet stuff for smell in the house.. so I sprayed some spot stuff I figured it would have kind of smell to it that would get rid of the other stuff..
You'll notice a little stiffness.....If you have carpet people come in they will put something down to neutralize the stuff in the salt. Basically the salt works it's way back up to the surface of the carpet even after you shampoo and it dries......
