Spines on a Lion fish question???

When moving the other day, I think I broke one of the spines on my lionfish with a net. It's laying down his back. Will it fall out a grow back or what will happen????

I'm not 100% sure,but I believe it should heal just as a torn fin would.

i been fedding him shrimp and feeder fish.
