can Spiny box puffers go in a 30 gallon Tank? thanks for your help

No, they get much to large for a 30 gallon. Toby puffers work well in 30 gallons... valentini or hawaiian blue spotted.

are you sure because on SWF page on spiny boxes they say 3-4 inches

That is the size they will arrive to you at. Typically the max size for spiny box is 9-10 inches.
