Just received my LS today and was a bit shocked! Why in the world did I look all around for SD sand or a very fine grain sand, that looks really nice, just to top it off with LS that looks like CC? I purchased my LS from this site. Is this normal?

i would just put the ls in a mesh bag or filter sock and let the critters make their way into the sand bed. is it crushed coral, or is it like small bits of rock. if its small pieces of rock you could just put it behind your live rock where it would not show.

Let me refine the wording a bit, not exactly like CC, but the grains a quite a bit larger. Also alot of shells and stuff. I could not get the picture to come thru.
