spliting a mushroom

I have this lr and it has 4 mushrooms on it. one of them has just out done it's self and is the size of and grapefruit. the others are still small. I can't see the others for the big one.
Could someone explain how I cut this up. I'm kind of a slow learner , is ther a web site on this sort of thing.

is it a giant mushroom? or is it jsut realy realy big? i wonder if it is getting enough light? Well, none the less, you will end up with a ton of little mushroom-lets

Cute, It sounded like I should only split it in half. After reading those instructions

as long as you get a piece of the stem in there they will be fine. actualy, i dont think you even need a stem. But this was my understanding
