splitting anem.

I am wondering if one of my anemones is splitting. The seven anems are all on one rock. I have one that attached on a rock just below, the anem head is up where all the others are. Under that rock next to where the foot is, I can see tissue like stuff on the underside of the rock. Its a bit dark under there so its hard to tell. Hope I didnt squash a anem under there. I dont know how many were on the rock when I got it, thought it was 7. There had been one on the under side, but it moved up within 24 hours of having it. I took a few pics, but it is really hard to tell. I dont want to lift the rock up because if they are splitting the foot would be attached to two different areas next to each other. If I have squashed something as well, I dont want it rotting uder there. Whatever is under there, it lookes a bit cloudy. The person I bought them from thought that one of the anem was splitting when I purchased the rock. Dont know if this was actually true.....First pic without flash, second pic with flash. Thank you!

Test your water, if something is decomposing such as an anemone you'll have measurable ammonia. I do see some cloudy stuff in the first photo but not in the second.

In the second pic its the white behind the anem foot. Just looks different in the photos with the flash vs. non-flash. I will start an ammonia test now. I need to test params tonight anyway, did a water change about an hour and half ago.

Its hard to tell from the pic, but I would guess that it is some sponge on the rocks and not part of the anemone.

I was going to post a new thread, but really this has to do with what I posted before. I posted a pic of under the rock where this nem was. It has since moved. It left some string slime where it was. I have notice that at the base of each of the anems they has this stuff. It reminds me of when a leather sheds some skin. Is this common? Do I not have enough circ going? Could this be the problem? I have my canister filter (?300-400 gph) and one Koralia 3 (800gph). I have a second Koralia 3 that is turned off so that the tank is blowing everywhere?
