Splitting LR

OK I tried fragging my brown zoos and it was a complete success. My first time ever fragging!!! I have a rather large colony and I would like to just split the rock in half. Is a chisel and hammer too barbaric?

hammer and cold chisel are perfect In my humble opinion

Hammer and chisel are great. If not try a tile saw or grinder. What you can do is score the rock with the grinder and then pound away with the hammer and chisel. Just like breaking bricks, kind of.

Having a razor blade is also handy to help seperate the pieces of rock being held together by the zoa colony.

I've even just gone outside and dropped it on the concrete....
