Splitting

Can one "encourage" anemones to split like a mushroom? of course I am not talking about cutting with a knive
My new GBTA split about 3x's in 4 months...yet my RBTA hasn't moved from his same spot in the last 20 months

Feed your RBTA more often, sometimes this might induce them to grow and split more.
Most of the forced attempts at getting anemones to split wind up with dead anemones.

Thank you...so what do you feed your RBTA? I found at the GBTA likes meaty foods while the RBTA like just the microvert/cyclopeeze/zoomax/phytomax/live DT cocktail once a week...ironically that what I fed the GBTA and it split 3x's

I hardly feed mine at all, they might get a meaty bit of food once per month, sometimes every two months. Mind do quite well with just light.
