WHAHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! :jumping: :cheer:

My prized RBTA has finally split! I've had it well over 2 years and it has gone from the size of a tennis ball to over a foot across! I now have two very nice looking anemones. It looks like it wants to split again too!!!
Funny thing is that I was out of town when it happened. I get a phone call from my girlfriend who sounded quite irate. She asked me if I had gone out and bought another anemone for my tank (money being tight around the hollidays, don't blame her for being mad). I asked her what she was talking about, and she told me I had two anemones in the tank!!!!
I know this is probably meaningless to some, but I am excited!!! Just wanted to share!!!
Off to go stare at my tank for an hour or two!!

That's always exciting Grog, especially the first time, unless of course they become like mine and reproduce like rabbits. Traded one to the LFS yesterday for a different type of xenia coral.

I was very shocked when mine did it and happy too.. the best part was that both of my brothers have tanks.. and their anemones havent split and mine did... just something to throw in their face :p
It's really weird how the anemone split... it split like a third of itself, then the third split, twice making 4 little anemones. Which after 2-3 months (forget how long its been) they all are surviving well. Even though one of the splits got caught in a rio... its healed and pwning!

OK, I think there are now three of them!!!! :jumping:
Looks like the larger of the two is splitting again which would make three equally sized anemones!
Sorry, but no real good pics as they split kind of between and behind rocks among my orange zoos.
