Great timing on your post - I was just coming here to post a video of my crab to see if anyone knew what it was. I figured it was either a sponge crab or a decorator crab - the LFS wasnt sure which to call it, but I think this guy is what you're looking for. Unfortunately I haven't seen one there since the day I bought this guy a few months ago but I'll ask them where they got it and let you know if it's someplace you can order from.

I'm pretty sure he was $9.99 which was why I was willing to take a gamble on him - I had no idea what to expect from him. Now that I know, I'd pay a lot more for one if I had to - I love him! Good luck with yours. Do you know if they regenerate missing legs? I would love him to be able to get around better someday.

ya you could see it was having a bit of trouble with missing legs, and yes they will grow back, my anemone crab just molted and grew back 3 legs and a claw that were missing when i bought it, little smaller than the others, but after another molt, you wont be able to tell

How big is it?
His body itself is probably 1-3/4" to 2" inches but if you add in his big front claws he looks bigger than that. I have no idea how big they get -- there's not a lot of information available about them.
