Sponge keeping

Can anyone share any info on requirements for keeping sponges? I'm considering adding a blue one to my reef.

all i know about sponges is that theyre filter feeders and the should never be exposed to air

I think I speak for us all when I say that there is a "sponge Master" among us. Mr Bubble, maybe you can grace us with your knowledge on this topic.
