Sponge Question

i have thousands of sponges growing, some in very large colonies,, they range in color from white, to a very neon green, red, etc. etc.
are they beneficial? good, bad indifferent?

I think all sponges are benefiial, unless they spread like wildfire and smnother corals and such, they filter ur water, even if its a small amount.

if they start to overgrown stuff there are Nudi's that eat sponges...are they in ur reef or agressive?

both they are EVERYWHERE.. there really neat and very bright neon colors

i wouldnt worry about them if they arent hurting anything/taking ur tank over
