hello all,
im new to the board and the sw world all together. i have been searching and reading all the info about this site that i think my brain can handle. im currently looking into the future. im trying to decide what to stock my take with besides hardy fish. ive come accross a couple of specimens that im unsure of. i was hoping for someone with any info about tree sponges and lettuce nudibranch in my FOWLR setup. i have a 55 gallon tank.:D

Hi welcome,:) sponges are hard to keep , I had many some lasted months some not, must be kept away from air, the orange ball sponge I have has been in my tank from the begining, does well for some reason, Lettuce nudibranches do better han the colored one who feed on some types of sponges , Ive had pretty good luck with some but they wiped out some sponges that I had, a few pics of some sponges

they lettuce nudi. can be kept if you have a good amount of algae for them to eat also most people dont realize that these are not true nudi. they are in the sea slug family so they are easier to keep than the real nudi. i had one for two days once never saw it after that but then again i have a tank with a lot of algae eating stuff and not a lot of algae so it didnt really work out for me
