I was thinking about getting some sponge to add a litte color to my tank, pretty sure they should be spot fed adn turn off all the water ciculation for around 5 mins correct, how hardy are they? Also will dwarf angels pick at them because i hope to get a coral beatuy soon?

you could do it the way you say, but they are filter feeders so they catch what they can from the surrounding water. I feed my tank DT's and the sponges are doing great. They also do not need light or high current--low current is better since they move water/nutrients through their bodies with there cillia.
