Spot feeding help needed

Hi all. Question is - with a 210 g system (27 " deep) I am having problems spot feeding. I dice up krill or silversides with a pair of scissors to pencil eraser sized pieces, add tank water, and apply with a turkey baster. It's a hit and miss system; and sometimes after you hit the next blast blows it away. How do you all suggest getting food to each polyp?

I waite untill night ,with the lights off, the sail fin tang asleep, & turn off my power heads then bast with a 28 inch( baster) I bought from'someplace that sells aquarium products.I use brine, & mysis shrimp.
