spot on clown

I have a young ocellaris clown with a small growth on the side of his face below his eye. It is opaque milky white about the size of his eye. It has been growing slightly for a few days. He seems unaffected, although, I thought I saw him try to rub it off on a rock. His young parter had just died after I moved the tank around on a new stand, and minor water change with Catalina water. Have been supplementing with Selcon for 2 days as per my LFS. Any ideas?
BTW, I checked out the pics in the FAQs, and it looks nothing like them, just one spot thats definately protruding.

Can you get a pic up? Is the spot a part of the fish's skin? Or is it attached to or protruding from the skin?
Supplementing with Selcon? What have you been supplementing? Selcon can be added to the food, but it best not to add it directly to the water. Fish get little benefit from supplementation of the water.
How long have you had the fish?

I tried to take a pic, but I can't seem to get it focused that close in order for you to see it.
It does not look like it is part of the skin. It seems as though it is attached to his face. The spot is almost clear, but has a small tint of white. I've had him for about three weeks now. I bought a pair, and the larger has died, from what I thought was stress from the tank being half emptied, and moved.
Since, the other has developed this spot, and not been as active or eating as responsively, due to, I thought, the move.
I have mixed the Selcon with Formula One flake food, and Frozen brine shrimp, and he has eaten, but little.

It could be a flatworm parasite attached to the fish. My clown actually has a single parasite as well that seems to come and go depending on stress level. When he's been stressed out the parasite [on his side] emerges and the fish's health declines.
Do you have a QT to treat the fish?
I would suggest you upgrade the quality of the fish diet. Better to get nutrition via varied quality foods, rather than via supplements.

Well, I woke up today, and he was dead. In the future, what foods do you recommend beside the frozen brine shrimp and flake for clowns and I also have a Valentini puffer

The pufferfish definately needs a specific diet that includes shell foods [to keep his teeth filed down]. Variety is what I recommend, in addition to studying up on the specific dietary needs of the fish you are keeping and then meeting those needs.
There are many froozen foods that offer lot of variety. A combination of frozens, dried and maybe even fresh seafoods.
