Spots on a one spot foxface-Pics (any input Beth?)

Anyone feel free to include input on this. Beth I only mention you specifically because I was referred here from Reef Central. One of the members spoke very highly of your knowledge about fish disease so I'm hoping you can help me out here.
I have a one spot foxface who has some unusual raised spots on his body. I noticed the development of raised yellow spots (they were yellow when he was in camo mode and also during his relaxed coloration) that look a lot like pimples (for lack of a better description). The raised yellow pimples turned white the following day. During the week I've been watching him, the spots change frequently (daily or every other day) both in number and color (from yellow to white). Some days he's had almost none but the past few days he's pretty much been covered both in yellow and white spots. The raised dots are about the diameter of the the tip of a ballpoint pen and are raised about as high as a millimeter. The spots are present on his body and his fins.
As for behavior he doesn't seem to be acting sick. He's been eating well for the most part except yesterday he showed a slight lack of interest in food which is really unlike him.
Here are some pictures of him with the spots
These two are from the first day

This is a shot from yesterday

Also, my other fish show no signs of these spots. All water parameters are in good shape.
Thanks a lot for any input on this. If this is something serious I want to start treating him right away.

How long have you had him? I'm sure Beth will check out your pictures and help you out

The yellow nature of the spots is interesting, but, to me this fish has ich. The yellow may be a site reaction to the presence of the parasite, especially since you say that the yellow comes first, followed by the white spots.

Thanks so much for the reply. I've noticed since posting here that both my angelfish and kole tang also have had an outbreak of ich. I'm planning on treating the display tank using hypo salinity so hopefully everything goes well. I'm pretty attached to these little guys :)

Hypo is the best treatment, however, you can not do it in a tank with live rocks or inverts. Do you have a refractometer?

The tank does have both live rock and inverts. The inverts I'm going to rescue and put them in my QT during the duration of the hypo treatment :).
Why will the liverock be a problem? I know that there can at first be problems with the bacteria adjusting but I had heard that if the salinity is lowered gradually then it will adapt.

Also, yep I ordered a refractometer the other day so it should be here soon. I'm going to start gradually lowering the salinity (checking it with my hydrometer. It reads about 5 thousandths too low) and will finish the job to 1.009 once the refractometer gets here.
