Looks like a small ( ~ .75 - 1 inch long) Mantis Shrimp hitchiked aboard some live deco rock I ebayed.
Anyone have any experience with catching these things?

google it, there are plenty of inventive traps out there. I happen to like the fishing line holding the trap up and when the shrimp enters the trap, it pulls the fishing line out and the trap is then set.
