I have a spotted wolf eel in my tank that keeps changing colors. This is my first eel and I just was wondering if you had any insight on this. He gets a real dark, almost black color sometimes, usually when feeding happens. He also turns to a aqua green or sometimes dark green color as well...
The reason I ask is because he was pretty much a brownish tan color all the time no matter what for the first few weeks, now he rarely is that color. I just want to make sure it isnt a sign of him being sick or stressed or anything...so is this normal? He eats fine and seems fine except for the new color he has pretty much dominantly become...
