HI Coop, you will use pvc you will need three 1/2inch elbo's, 1/2inch pvc tubeing cut to disered lengh for where you wish to have your spraybar. also cut 1/2inch pieces to piece the elbows together. drill holes about 1 inch apart 3/16 drill bit can do this on 90deg angles aswell, you will need to buy a endcap also if your using your return pump for this. or if your power head is strong enough. you will need a barb fitting for inlet from your return pump also. and you can get what they call door hangers there plastic for hanging cloths on the top back of doors i know home depot and lowe's carries this. goodluck hope this helps you. Speaking of this...when you guys (and gals :)) use PVC for these projects, what do you use to join and seal the PVC pipes? Do you use your everyday PVC glue or would you have to use aquarium sealant?

So there is no danger with the chemicals in the PVC glue leaching into the water and harming the livestock?

Make sure the glue is completely dry before you use the pieces. I like to rinse them before I use them.

Made mine out of clear lift tubing and used the hose left over from my sump return line for a coupling and to attach it to the powerhead in the tank. The end cap a stop put on the end of a chair leg that prevents it from scatching the floor.
