Spray Bars - Black PVC?

I have seen some nice spray bar pics here, and I notice a lot of them are made using black PVC. I am finding that is not such a common commodity and is hard to find. Anyone know a good place to get the makings of a good spraybar in black PVC, either online, or in the Los Angeles area?

I think the reason you always seen them black is because they are made from threaded PVC nipples... My local hardware store sells PVC Pipe which is white and all of their nipples are black. Don't know what's up with the different colors?

Point is, I want black, and can't find it. I need to know where I can get it.

:) Have you checked your local hardware stores for pvc nipples? If you ask for black pvc pipe they may say they don't carry it.

Thanks slick. That may help. I was thinking of using standard pvc solid piping, but perhaps flexible tubing may work.
You may also be right Reefnut about the PVC nipples. I'll look in to that too.

Not until now...hmm...that's an option. I just don't want standard white PVC. I guess in the absence of black, clear would be the next choice.

You might not want to use clear... Since it will allow light in which will facilitate algae growth within the pipe.

you might also be seeing people who have made extensive use of locline, snapline, flexline and the plethora of other names it goes under. basically snap together ball and socket stuff that has different diameters and can use a variety of nozzles and what not.
shown here not in black so you can get a better idea of the system and the pieces that compose it.
to find it do a google search for loc-line and click the first link.

Krux - that is the modular system that my spraybar is made of. Just cleaned it last night. In fact when I was done I looked back on the counter and saw that I left one piece off :( hate when that happens.
The modular spraybar though has excellent control, you can twist the jets to where you want them, I am pleased with mine.
