Sprinkler piping ?

Is the Schedule 80 grey srinkler piping, valves, tees etc.. ok to use on the Salt water tank?

Yes, but why in the world would you buy sch80?

It's made better and the valves open smoother compared to the white schedule 40 PVC with the red handles.

Buy sch40 industrial sewer line, just as cheap as the white. O the pvc is black.

Lowes, Home Depot, thats where I got it from (Lowes).

the wall thickness on schedule 80 is thicker than sched 40 . the outside diameter (O.D.) of the pipe is the same, therefore if your wall thickness goes up, the inside diameter (I.D) is reduced. this holds true I believe up to 12 inch pipe.
I use the thinwall PVC, re-use water pipe, the color is purple.
