Hey guys,
I'm very new to this hobby and I have been hanging out in the forums for awhile and I had a few questions about SPS corals.
First, I had some questions about MH lights. I was wondering which organisms need MH lighting to do well. I think I heard SPS coral and scallops needs MH lights, is that correct? Are there others that absolutely need MH lights?
And then I was wondering if LPS coral needs MH lights? I'm taking a serious look at the Nanocustoms 4.36 144w 29g Biocube upgrade. Would that be able to support LPS coral? Also, would any of you care to review the R2 moonlight upgrade?
Finally, I was wondering what your personal opinion on SPS coral was. For some reason, I find the LPS coral selection more interesting and stuff, so I was wondering your reasons for having SPS coral when it seems like it takes more work.
