SPS questions

Hey, I'm not a big fan of SPS, though some of them are quite attractive, but under ideal conditions how fast do these things grow? I see them at my LFS all of the time and they are an inch or two tall. Don't these take forever to grow?

it depends on what kind of sps it is

some grow a 1/4" plus a month. doesnt seem like a lot when its a couple branches but when its 10 or 20 tips or a decent size monti cap it starts to build fast

One more thing, SPS cannot touch each other can they?

some can some cant, some can even damage before they touch

staghorns seem to grow the fastest out of all sps. mine staghorns hv triple size size in 6-8 months.

My tri-color acro has doubled in size and has 4 heads coming off of it with new one for off of them since September.
