Has anyone ever heard of keeping SPS like acropora, birdsnest, ect. in a 5.5 gal nano? Is it possible with the right lighting and flow?

Its possible, but it would be hard. you'd have to keep close watch over heat, calcium, alkalinity (probably doseing at least once a day) water top offs, etc. If this is your first reef try softies first until you get the hang of staying on top of water condtitions.
