Stainless or not

OK,I'm confused,I posted the question, Can I run marine grade stainless(titanium to expensive) in my DIY chiller to help the pull down?
I am now getting conflicting answers, some say yes, some say no,can anyone who has maybe used ss before let me know, aren't the pins in all our power heads not ss I ask?
Please help,My DIY chiller works ok but I need to pull the temp down more.
It gets damn hot in sunny Queensland Australia

All steel even stainless steel will oxidize. This could be bad for fish. But if you get some of the really dence stuff 550 maybe?? and treat it with some form of acrilic sealer you should be ok. The oxidization should only take place slowaly unless you get air bubbles into it.
