Stainless Steel heater rod.

O.K. Temperature fluctuates a lot. So I got this thermostat with heater. It will automatically turn on or off, depending on the temp. of the water. (regulates it) So, it looks alright but I wasn't sure if the metal is OK. All my heaters are glass.

Do you have a brand name so we can look it up? I know you can't post pics so a link would be helpful.

Found it on e-bay, having such a hard time with temp. fluctuation. It's from China, took it out 10 after I put it in! Argggggg! Thanks

Can't seem to find anything that will automatically adjust itself. Via thermostat to heater.

What's wrong with having a few heaters in the tank? I have 2 in my sump and they keep the water at a pretty stable temp

Yeah, I keep 2 in the sump as well. Never had an issue till this summer, I came home to tank at 81, where before it held between 76-78. But it still does fluctuate a couple degrees a day which I understand isn't good.
