Stand Modifications

I am getting a new 72 gallon bowfront tank with stand and funiture cover. I I am wondering about modification. I am thinking of drilling two holes on both sides of the top and installing four fans to pull lots of air accross my t5s and water surface. Also I am considering reinforcing my stand with 2x6s and installing heavy duty wheels to make the tank mobile. What does everyone thing about this?

Why dont you think the wheels will work? I was going to do some insane reinforcement on this all bolted together with industrial wheels on it

70 gallons of water (~560lbs) sloshing around when you try to move it could get messy, or put unwanted stress on tank seals.

What type of light are you getting? if its one were the cooling fans are located on the top, I would recommend considering some fans in the top of the canopy as well. JMO

Weight on glass and silicone when moving would cause too much stress and possible leaks. I agree, no wheels.

ok. I need to see how the hood is. I might have to install the lights on the lid with a few hanging down to provide cross breeze between input and output.
