It took most of the day yesterday, but we got the stand put right side up. We went out and bought a 10 gallon tank and another 44 gallon garbage can. We drained the water into the 10 gallon tank and put 2 of the peices on lr in it. Gradually drained the water into the trash cans placing the lr in there. Then once all the lr was removed from the tank I caught all the fish, snails, hermits, and shrimp and placed them in the 10 gallon. Disconnect the megaflow and removed it from underneath and while two of us held the tank, my wife flipped the stand right side up. Then I put everything back slowly trying not to disturb the sandbed as much as possible. We didn't lose anything so far and I even did a water change. I think we did pretty good for only having a tank for the first time just over a month. I even made new water because I just installed a protein skimmer. I can't believe my lfs installed the stand upside down and claim to be experts. :notsure:
