I have a yellow brittle and a red serpant in non coral tank right now...and I'm thinking of putting them in my reef tank...any thoughs or experiences with either type in reef tank?
I looking for some input before I make the dessision. I've read that both are "reef safe," but I've also learned that the trem "reef safe" is subjective. So if anybody has input.....
Thanks

Both should be absolutely fine in a reef tank. I have a very large red serpent in my tank (around 16" from tip to tip) and it has never caused any problems. I also have a black brittle and 2 other normal sized serpent starfish for a total of 4 starfish in the brittle family in that reef tank. I spot feed the red serpent every time I feed because it ALWAYS comes out and the others whenever they stick a leg out for me to give them something.
