Looks like an asteria starfish. They are supposed to have 6 (legs?); but I have some with 3 just like that one. Some people say that they can nibble on corals, but I haven't had any problems. Most people keep them (I think).

Thanks for the info sorry about the clarity of the pic put he or she had lost a leg so it’s a four legged star fish
