star polyps

tonight i noticed that a few of my star polyps broke off the rest of the colony and ended up on the rock below it. Are they dead or are they trying to spread to another rock?

Not real sure but I dont think they like where they are at. I would try to move the zoos to a new location and then see how they do there. Just make sure not to have the same light and flow as you do now. hope i helped

star polyps are also very easy to break or fragg so the part that fell off could have been already very loose..Thats what happened to mine and they turned out fine.
