I ordeded a chocolate chip starfish from swf.com, should be here tomorrow. I have heard many different ways of acclimating starfish. Can anyone tell me which way works best for them?

Acclimate the same way as a fish just slower. They are more sensitive to salinity changes.

They're also extremely sensitive to pH and temperature swings.
I would highly recommend drip aclamating the starfish for around 5-8 hours. You could buy some small airline tubing, and tie a knot in one end. Tighten the knot until you receive around 1 drip every 2-3 seconds. Continue this until the time is up. Remember to empty some of the water to prevent the bag from overflowing.
