Can starfish..particularly choc. chips..contract ick? I just had a break out...started the hypo in my QT tank...moved all the fish..but crabs and snails....should I move the CC Star too?

Absolutely positively do not put the star in hypo. It will not contract ich and hypo will most definitely kill it! Starfish (and many inverts) are one of the most sensitive critters to salinity of any and do not like low salinity. Hope the hypo goes well with it's tankmates though! Good luck
