I have a 37 gallon Eclipse showtank and am having problems with the latest addition to my tank. I bought a chocolate chip starfish and it is secreting a jelly-like stuff that is filled with bubbles. Is this normal?

Is it actually spitting this stuff out in the tank or is it just sticking out it's stomach to eat?
