how large a tank would a stargazer snake eel Brachysomophis cirrocheilos need? it gets about 66in?

Since it burries itself you would most likley need a dsb. My guess for tank size would be 500 gallon range since it gets 62 inches long

syndrome is correct on the DSB for these eels like the ribbon burrows in. Only I not believe that the tank would have to be 500, but rather 300 with only one catch, it would need to be a deep tank because of the DSB you would need. This eel is quite a shy eel, hardly ever shows itself during daylight other then when it sticks its head out from its burrow.
