starting 90gal FO

I have been given a 90 gal tank. It was used for freshwater/ Is there any special way of cleaning it out. and also having just a FO tank do I need all those MH like I use in my 120 reef or can I just go with VHO's???? thanks

Vho's would be fine you really don't need any light on a fo just your personal prefrence. I would just by an NO strip light.

what about filteration???? would canisters do it or should I go all out and get another Wet/dry. thanks for the info

wet dry work better for aggressive i get one instead of a canister

A wet dry with a decent protein skimmer would do you a world of good.
